Founded in 2019, Ukrainian Community Developers Alliance (UACDA) provides coordination ‘and community-driven responses to humanitarian, climate, and community crises.
Ukrainian Community Developers Alliance is led by Aleks Vorobets, a social entrepreneur, based in Sacramento California.
Sometime in 2016, the Vorobets family began organizing and shipping relief to Ukraine and, more specifically, to regions impacted by armed conflict.
Today UACDA has working relationships with civic and government at the local or city level (MisRada), Regional level (Oblast), and National level. Adding to direct contact and working relationships with NGOs, Ukrainian business chambers, farming/social associations, and many religious groups based in Ukraine. We aim to advance the Ukrainian aid mission by providing strategic advice and analysis to support decision-making from a local perspective.
Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.
